I am a junior at Agnes Scott College studying international relations and creative writing. I was accepted to study at Peking University from January 15th-May 2nd. During that time, I will take pictures, write reflections, and do my best to avoid the Great Firewall of China to post on this blog.
The blog will mostly focus on cultural, social, economical, and political encounters, in addition to what a college student goes through when s/he decides to pack up from the comfortable norm and move 13 time-zones away from her current reality.
Though abroadburger.wordpress.com serves as a way for me to record my experience before, in, and post China, it is also my connection to the States as Facebook, Twitter, and other networking sites are banned. I love comments and questions, also welcome readers to email me at rburger11@gmail.com.
